Additional Costs:

Child seats: £5.00 per day (charged for first 10 days only – Max £50.00).

Additional Driver: £5.00 per day (charged for first 10 days only - Max £50).

SatNav (GPS): £10 per day (1-6 day hires), £6 per day (7 days+ hires).

Age requirements:

Drivers aged 21+ can drive Mini Cooper, Mini Cooper S, Mini Cooper S Countryman, Nissan Juke, VW Golf R, VW GTi, VW Scirroco, Smart Fortwo and Abarth 595.

Drivers aged 25+ can drive Audi A5, GT86, Mercedes E350, Porsche Boxster S, Range Rover Evoque and Range Rover Sport.

Insurance Excess:

£750.00 for Mini Cooper, Mini Cooper S, Mini Cooper S Countryman, Nissan Juke, VW Golf GTI, VW Golf R, VW Scirroco, Smart Fortwo and Abarth 595.

£1250.00 for Audi A5, GT86 and Mercedes E350

£2000.00 for Porsche Boxster S, Range Rover Evoque and Range Rover Sport

Security Deposit:

Your card will be pre-authorised with the Insurance Excess amount. When you return the vehicle at the end of the hire period, the total additional charges (including any charges for fuel, damage, etc) will be calculated, and your card will then be charged for the final amount. At this point the pre-authorised amount will be released back to your credit card account. This may take up to 15 days, depending on your card issuing bank.

Damage Liability Cover:

Insurance is subject to a damage liability which varies according to vehicle size. Damage Liability Reduction (reducing the excess to £250.00) is available at an additional cost but is not available to drivers aged 21-24. Costs are as follows:

Cars within the £750.00 Insurance Excess category:

£15.00 per day, 1-3 day hires
£12.00 per day, 4-6 day hires
£10.00 per day, 7-14 day hires
£7.00 per day, 15 days or longer

Cars within the £1250.00 Insurance Excess category:

£30.00 per day, 1-3 day hires
£24.00 per day, 4-6 day hires
£21.00 per day, 7-14 day hires
£18.00 per day, 15 days or longer

Glass and Tyre cover:

£5.00 per day, 1 to 6 day hires
£4.00 per day, 7 to 14 day hires
£3.00 per day 15 days or longer

Please note that Cool Cars 4 Hire reserves the right to withdraw the option to purchase damage liability waiver, for example, due to extreme weather conditions.
