35 Years of GTI and it's Faster Than Ever

Celebrating 35 years of the GTI badge, VW have brought out edition 35. With a similarly super stylish exterior, the design of this hot hatch has only experienced some minor tweaks. A new wheel and front bumper design have given Edition 35 a fresh twist on the original GTI. However it is under the bonnet where the real changes have taken place. Plumping for an older engine that is present in the Golf R rather than the same engine as the previous GTI, VW have managed to get 232bhp out of Golf GTI Edition 35 making it the fastest GTI ever. Accelerating round corners the car grips tightly to the road and reaches speeds never before seen from a GTI. Combine this extreme speed with superb suspension and a luxurious interior and you get one of the greatest hatchbacks of all time.
